If you didn't find anything that sparked your interest on our Amazon.ca Registry, here are some other options that will help you get to know our day-to-day lives! Each of the options below allow you to designate your gift to go towards the items, services and experiences that we want/need/desire the most! To select something as your gift, just add it to your cart and then follow the 'check out' process. You'll have the option to pay with any major credit card in Canadian funds. We opted to make our own registry like this because all of the fancy ones that you can opt-into through other websites charge service fees - so we're cutting out the middle man!
Denby Dishes: When we started to look at registering, we decided one of the things that we would register for would be a set of Denby dishes. However, in the process of picking out the dishes that we liked for the registry, there was a sale in the US! So instead of registering for dishes at more than double the cost (plus tax) back home in Canada, we bit the bullet and purchased 8 place settings of the Praline pattern before the sale ended. If you would like to gift the cost of some of these dishes to us, we have listed the exact ones that we purchased below.
Every once in a while our dogs get so dirty that we have to call in the professionals! Maggie in particular LOVES to find the world's worst mud pits and comes out head to toe looking like a coal miner! When the seasons change, Maggie suddenly decides to shed enough fur to make it look like it is always a white christmas! :D
- Maggie - $45
- Buddy - $35
- Ellenore - $25
- Audrey - $20
- Miles - $15
We try to take our dogs with us on as many trips as we can - they're great road trippers - but not all of them can fly, so sometimes they have to stay behind with one of our beloved dog sitters!
Ashley's muscles need a lot of Protein... protein powder, protein gel, protein shakes, actual protein.... (but not pork... she won't eat pork unless you tell her it is chicken... ) In any event, it doesn't take her long to go through $50 of protein in a week!
Ice Cream is our guilty pleasure! When we take the dogs for a walk, sometimes we always manage to take a detour near the Menchies in our neighbourhood so that we can get some 'healthy' frozen yogurt!
It's true - Ashley doesn't drive! However, her eye doctor recently gave her the go-ahead to learn how - but we think it would be safest for everyone if she took quite a few lessons first - from someone other than Karen!
